Gen Petraeus meets Kayani
ISLAMABAD: General David H Petraeus, Commander of the NATO International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, visited Pakistan on Monday to meet with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani. They discussed matters relating to mutual interests and ways to improve regional security. This is Petraeus’ sixth visit to Pakistan as the ISAF commander. He has long-established relationships with Kayani and the Pakistan Army from his time as the US Central Command commander. staff report
