Heat wave continues in Sindh, Punjab
LAHORE: Sindh and Punjab provinces are undergoing sever hot weather at this point of time, Geo News reported.
The temperature in Bahawalpur and Larkana has risen to 46 degrees centigrade. Sindh and Punjab’s plain areas are witnessing rise by 6 to 7 degrees centigrade during last some days.
According to met office, the current wave of heat is expected to climb down within two or three coming days.
Met office forecast scattered rain with light thunderstorm in upper Punjab, upper Khayber Pakhtunkhwa, North Balochistan and Kashmir regions from Friday.
The maximum temperature recorded today in Dadu, Nawabshah, Nurpur Hal was 45 degrees centigrade. 44 degrees centigrade in Sibbi, Sahiwal and Jhang districts. Dera Ismael Khan, Sagodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Islamabad saw as high as 42 degrees centigrade temperature.
While Karachi, Gilgitm Maree and Muzaffarabad witnessed 35 degrees centigrade temperature today (Tuesday).
