Former SBC chief Ali Muhammad Dahri shot dead
NAWABSHAH: Former Chairman Sindh Bar Council Advocate Ali Muhammad Dahri was killed here on Thursday when four unknown armed men on motorbikes opened fire on him at HM Khoja Garden Road.
All business in the area came to a standstill after the sad incident.
As per details, Advocate Dahri was on his way home from District & Sessions Court when he was ambushed. He was accompanied by his granddaughter when the incident occurred. Dahri and his granddaughter were critically injured and rushed to Peoples Medical College Hospital Nawabshah, but despite an emergency operation, the 65 years old advocate succumbed to his injuries.
Later, the girl also succumbed to her injuries .
Advocate Dahri was thrice elected President Nawabshah Bar Council and was also District President of Peoples Lawyers Forum. Lately, he was president Pakistan Muslim League-Functional Lawyers Forum.
