Appointment, promotion of chairman PEMRA challenged in SC
ISLAMABAD: The appointment and the promotion of acting Chairman PEMRA, Dr. Abdul Jabbar, have been challenged in Supreme Court (SC), Geo News reported.In a petition filled by Advocate Altaf Mehmood Malik in SC, the apex court has been requested to take suo motto notice over the appointment and promotion of acting Chairman PEMRA Dr. Abdul Jabbar.
The petition stated that according to law, the appointment of acting Chariman PEMRA, was illegal
Dr. Abdul Jabbar was promoted to grade 21 from grade 19 within short span of 7 months, the plea stated further.
