Karachi security put on high alert
KARACHI: Strict security measures have been adopted in and around all sensitive buildings and places across metropolis today (Friday) given the three back-to-back Naval buses’ bomb attacks occurred in this week, Geo News reported.Police and Rangers’ officials and security wings’ officials continued patrolling around residential areas and office buildings of Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Army in view to thwart any potential bomb attack, keeping in view recently occurred three bomb attacks on Pakistan Navy buses.
Security forces’ officials including commando, maritime coast guards and other security officials were seen on continuous patrol around high profile locations like Shahrah-e-Faisal, Dalmia, Lucky Star, Saddar, Malir, Baldia Town, Kemari, Clifton, Defense and Korangi as all mentioned localities are housed to Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force’s offices and residences.
Police and Rangers’ vehicles kept snap checking all the day long and made many arrests of suspected people while armed forces’ staff were transported to their offices under change of route policy today.
