PPP, PML-Q alliance to pose constant threat on Punjab govt.: Mukhtar
GUJRAT: Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar Saturday described newly emerging alliance of PPP and PML-Q in center as being a constant threat on Punjab government, Geo News reported.He said break in unification group would change number game in national assembly.
The minister was talking to media men here. He said it is hard for people to understand the politics of reconciliation at this point of time but, according to him, people will laud efforts of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) with the passage of time.
“I will contest for a national assembly seat in next election,” he revealed, rebuffing impression of his joining Senate.
“The government is trying to end US drone strikes because a clear decline in drone attacks is evident from the number of attacks in past some months,” he claimed.
