Sindh Police to be given Rs2.5 billion to fight terrorists
KARACHI: The Sindh Police will be given Rs2.5 billion to purchase weapons which will help them fight terrorists. This decision was made during a meeting over the law and order situation in Karachi chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House.
The president issued directives for indiscriminate action against criminal elements irrespective of their political affiliation.
President Zardari also received a briefing from Provincial Home Minister Mansoor Wasan over the law and order situation in Karachi.
The meeting was also attended by Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and the heads of law enforcement agencies.
