Register cases against ministers involved in kidnapping for ransom: CJ
QUETTA: A three member bench of the Supreme Court heard the Balochistan law and order case at the Supreme Court’s Quetta registry.
During proceedings, the CJ addressed IG Balochistan and remarked that on March 10, ten people went missing from Sariab road Quetta, three of them had been recovered while the whereabouts of seven were unknown.
The Chief Justice said that action would be taken if those seven were not produced before the court on Friday morning and all police officials including the IG would be suspended.
Earlier during proceedings, the court observed that the Frontier Constabulary was being mentioned in the matter of mutilated bodies.
The court also heard the statement of the provincial home minister in which he claimed that some ministers were involved in kidnapping for ransom cases. The Chief Justice ordered IG Balochistan to find out the names of those ministers involved in the kidnapping for ransom and register cases against them.
The Chief Justice also remarked that all provinces were violating the constitution by not holding local body elections and these were essential to solve the law and order situation in Balochistan.
