Shujaat for promotion of Pak-UK relations
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Senator Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said political parties of Pakistan and Britain should play their role for promoting relations between both countries.
Talking to British House of Commons Member Barrister Yasmin Qureshi who called on the PML resident at his residence on Wednesday, Shujaat said contacts between the people and parliamentarians of the two countries should be made effective, and more and more delegations from different walks of life should be exchanged. Shujaat said a large number of Pakistanis were living in Britain and the election of Qureshi was also an honour for overseas Pakistanis. staff report
