Karachi Christians also celebrating Easter today
KARACHI: Christians in Pakistan and across the world today (Sunday) celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.Easter Sunday is typically the most well attended Sunday service of the year for Christian churches as the Christian community holds prayers and special ceremonies to mark the Easter week.
The Christians in this mega-metropolis also began their Easter day attending special service in the Churches. A large number from Christian community—women, children and elders were seen gathered at the St. Andrew Church here attending the service with great religious zeal and fervor.
In Lahore also Christian community men, women and children celebrating Easter and attended service praying for the forgiveness of failings from the Almighty besides for the security and safety of the country. Bells rang and hymns sung in solemnity at the Churches.
