Nawaz hails Zardari’s visit to India
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Monday said the increasing inflation had broken backbone of the people and the government was overcoming deficit by printing currency notes.
Talking to Geo news here, the PML-N President said that the government should decrease its expenses.
Nawaz hailed President Asif Ali Zardari's visit to India, saying bilateral relations between both the countries should move forward.
He said that Indian cricket team should visit Pakistan, adding that the government should ensure security for the team.
On energy crisis, he said the federal and the provincial governments would have to work jointly to overcome energy crisis prevailing in the country.
Nawaz said that the decision on Nato supplies restoration should be taken in line with the aspirations of the nation.
Sharif said that he wished he went to Gayari and put efforts in rescuing Pakistan Army troops trapped in an avalanche.
