Lord Nazir denies Obama bounty reports

LONDON: Lord Nazir Ahmed has denied reports that he made statements regarding placing bounties on US President Barak Obama and former US President George W. Bush.

Speaking to the media at the Heathrow airport after returning from Pakistan, Nazir said his statements called for investigations against those people who had been accused of war crimes.

Nazir clarified that only his membership to the Labour party had been suspended and after an investigation this would be restored.

On Sunday, Britain’s Labour party suspended Lord Nazir Ahmed over reports that he offered a 10 million pound bounty for the capture of US President Barack Obama.
