Brig Fahim a ‘borrowed officer’, says Gilani
LAHORE: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday said the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) chief, Brigadier Fahim Ahmad Khan, was a “borrowed officer”, Geo News reported. According to the TV channel, Gilani also warned the ANF chief against crossing his limits in the drug quota scandal case. The TV channel also quoted the premier as saying that Brigadier Fahim should not forget that he was working under the civilian government, adding that it was imperative for him to abide by the “civilian laws”. The channel also quoted Gilani as saying, “The ANF chief should also remember that civilian government ‘borrowed’ him from the armed services.” The ANF is investigating a Rs 7 billion drug scam against several accused, including PM Gilani’s son, Ali Musa Gilani. daily times monitor
