Passenger threatens to hijack PIA plane
KARACHI: A passenger threatened to hijack Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK 588.During the flight the passenger informed a member of the cabin crew that he could hijack the plane.
The aircraft was flying from Karachi to Bahawalpur but after receiving the threat the Captain diverted the flight back to the metropolis.
Airport Security Force (ASF) commanders entered the plane and apprehend the passenger who had made the threat.
According to the ASF, all airports are secure and the incident took place due to the non serious attitude of one person.
ASF adds that the passenger is a resident of the Defence Phase 2 area of Karachi.
