Politics is like watching a horror movie: GilaniISLAMABAD: Chairing a special meeting of the federal cabinet on Thursday following his conviction, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani remarked politics was a “horror movie” that only adults could watch and not the weak. Gilani said the Pakistan People’s Party has always stood by the constitution and would continue to do so. “Pakistan’s future would have been different had the law of necessity not prevailed in the case of Maulvi Tamizuddin,” he said. Greeted at the cabinet meeting by thumping of desks by his colleagues, the prime minister thanked them for their overwhelming support. He noted, “Politics has lots of ups and downs. It has a lot of problems. It is a long way and a hard way.” agencies
