Courts subordinate to parliament: Khosa
LAHORE: Governor Punjab Lateef Khosa has said that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is not ineligible and that parliament can reject the court verdict, Geo News reported.Addressing as Guest of Honour at Lahore Press Club, Governor Punjab said " the courts are subordinate to the parliament".
Criticizing Babar Awan and Masood Chishti, Lateef Khosa said they have demonstrated as Mir Sadiq and Mir Jaffar for PPP.
Khosa said Nawaz Sharif explained court verdict and threatened for long march and demanded resignation, adding the apex court take suo moto notice of the statements of Sharif brothers.
