Karman Faisal case: Forensic report presented in SC

ISLAMABAD: The forensic report into Kamran Faisal murder was presented in the Supreme Court on Wednesday. The report has been sent to the Registrar’s office and the court has allowed access to parties in the case.

The apex court further stated that NAB, Islamabad Police and Kamran Faisal’s father can evaluate the report after submitting a request.

During proceedings, the NAB Prosecutor General K.K. Agha said it was fact finding matter if Kamran Faisal’s death was a murder or suicide. Agha added that Faisal’s father had submitted a request to become a party in the case, adding that he wanted a murder case.

“Everyone wants to know the truth,” Agha said.

Justice Jawaad S Khawaja remarked that police was refusing to give documents to the deceased’s father and if the NAB prosecutor had any reservations he should express them.

Justice Khawaja asked K.K. Agha to inform the court under which law should Kamran Faisal’s father not be heard.

Meanwhile the lawyer for the father of the deceased stated that Kamran Faisal was murdered due to his investigation into the Rental Power case.
