Rejection of candidature: Jamshed Dasti, Faisal Saleh Hyat file appealsMULTAN: Faisal Saleh Hayat and Jamshed Dasti on Monday challenged rejection of their nomination papers by Returning Officers in the Multan registry of the Lahore High Court as the third phase of the general elections began today.
The Multan bench of the LHC admitted Jamshed Dasti’s application for hearing against disqualification. His counsel said that Mr Dasti had challenged decision of Muzaffargarh District and Session judge of disqualifying him from contesting election.
Faisal Saleh Hayat has also filed appeal against rejection of his nomination papers for National Assembly NA-87 Jhang.
