ECP orders withdrawal of additional security to Sharif bothers

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday took notice of additional security, being provided to Sharif bothers and ordered withdrawal of it, Geo News reported.

Taking notice of the media reports about the unnecessary security to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif and former chief minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, ECP passed orders to cut it down and provide it as per law.

ECP had received complaints about the massive security, being provided to Sharif bothers and their family. About 761 security men and 54 vehicles are in use of Sharif family.
