Sindh government orders major overhaul of bureaucracy
KARACHI: In a major overhaul of the bureaucracy, the Sindh Government has ordered the appointments and transfers of Secretaries and Commissioners following directives from the Election Commission of Pakistan.
According to the notification Mohammad Waseem will be made Home Secretary, while Waseem Arsani will be made Secretary Excise and Taxation.
Other appointments of secretaries include, Malik Israr Senior Member Board of Revenue, Shahzar Shamoon Chairman Anti-Corruption, Lala Fazal ur Rehman Forest & Wildlife Secretary, Seema Najeeb Secretary Women Development, Farooq Leghari Secretary Energy, Atta Pehnor Secretary Livestock & Fisheries, Pervez Junejo Secretary Katchi Abadi’s, Shakeel ul Zaman Special Secreatry Local Bodies, Mohammad Rashid DG Provincial Civil Services Academy, Akhtar Ghauri Secretary Governor Sindh,Iqbal Saeed Director General Gorakh Hill Authority, Riaz Memon Special Secretary Finance, Jinsar Ali Shah Project Director Flood Emergency, Ali Dino DG Planning and Development, Amin Mangrio Secretary Sindh Public Safety Commission and Dr Niaz Ali Abbasi as Secretary Implementation.
Meanwhile appointments of commissioners include, Dr Riaz Ahmed Memon as Commissioner Hyderabad, Saeed Ahmed Commissioner Mirpur Khas, Mohammad Nawaz Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad, Agha Shah Nawaz Deputy Commissioner Thatta and Javed Sibghatullah Mahar Deputy Commissioner Kashmor.
