National Party manifesto vows recovery of Baloch missing persons
QUETTA: Dr Abdul Maalik, a Baloch nationalist leader and chief of the National Party on Friday unveiled his party manifesto for the upcoming general election , focusing on problems plaguing the volatile southwestern province, especially missing persons and detention of political workers.
Announcing party manifesto at a press conference, Maalik said that all the cases against political workers would be quashed and missing persons would be released. Besides, setting up a commission to probe excesses committed with Baloch people.
He said that the National Party would ensure justice in distribution of funds by the federation amongst federating units. The nationalist leader said that agricultural lands would be given to peasants, adding that all the federating units of Pakistan would be sovereign in dealing with internal matters.
The National Party manifesto also pledges allowances for jobless people, keeping health, education and communication sectors on its priority list.
