Interiors Pakistan Expo 2013 begins today

LAHORE: Interiors Pakistan Expo, organised by the Pakistan Furniture Council, is Pakistan’s first interiors and furniture expo focused on delivering creative, original and quality furniture to high-end consumer and retailers.
Being held from April 12 to April 14 between 11am and 8pm at the Lahore International Expo Centre, the media inauguration of the event is today at 4:30pm. Bringing 75,000 people under one roof, the exhibition is open to public and is a source for aspiring interior designers, architects, furniture dealers, homemakers, consumers and consultants.
Renowned interior designers and furniture manufacturers will showcase an extensive range of contemporary and traditional furniture, including, new innovations, techniques, use of fabric, décor and designing space. With an aim to promote indigenous style and design, each wing will display designs inspired from world over to cater the interest of spectators. The visitors will have the opportunity to place orders at the exhibition.
Interiors Pakistan Expo is a source to discover new designs and meet new talent promising to provide fresh ideas for contemporary and comfortable lifestyles. PFC CEO Mian Kashif Ashfaq states, “Interiors Pakistan Expo is the first of its kind collaborative effort that serves as platform for established and young interior designers to exhibit their work under one roof. The exhibition ensures opportunities for interior designers and furniture manufacturers to work in collaboration for the progress of the industry and to initiate international trade and participation in international furniture & interiors fairs.”
Amongst the leading names exhibiting at the Expo are Interwood, WORKMAN, Mohkham Furniture, TKID by Tina Khan, Chen One, NM Furnitures, National Furniture and Charagh Din & Co. Interiors Pakistan Expo is a project of Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC) and is planned as bi-annual expo in all the major cities of Pakistan, with Lahore as the first venue. pr
