Nawaz-League awards party tickets in Punjab
LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has issued party tickets for the National Assembly and the provincial assembly constituencies in Punjab.
The party has also finalized candidates for 146 NA seats out of total 148 in Punjab, keeping NA-173 Dera Ghazi Khan and NA-195 Rahim Yar Khan open.
The party has also announced names of candidates for 287 Punjab Assembly seats out of total 297, keeping PP-06 Rawalpindi, PP-170 Nankana Sahib, and PP-295 Rahim Yar Khan open, while candidates for the PP-34 Sargodha, PP-61 Faisalabad, PP-78 Jhang, PP-200 Multan, PP-271 Bahawalpur, PP-280 Bahawalpur and PP-297 Rahim Yar Khan would be decided latter.
Members of the Sharif family would run for three National Assembly and as many Punjab Assembly seats in Lahore.
Nawaz SHarif, Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Sharif would contest election from NA-120, NA-129 and NA-119 respectively.
Similarly, Shahbaz Sharif would run for two Punjab Assembly seats PP-159 and PP-161 in Lahore while his son Hamza Shahbaz would contest from PP-142.
