Imran throws down gauntlet to Nawaz, invites him to debate
RENALA KHURD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has once again challenged PML-N President Nawaz Sharif to a debate. The challenge was issued during a PTI election rally here on Tuesday.
“Mian Sahib you cannot compete in cricket at least compete in a debate,” Khan said. The PTI Chairman added that the Sharif brothers had supported President Asif Ali Zardari.
Speaking on Pervez Musharraf, Imran Khan said that action against the former president was being taken in accordance with the law.
When elected, Khan promised that development funds would not be given to any MNA or MPA. “We are bringing a new system and our local government system will empower the people. All developments will be given to representatives from villages.”
Imran also promised that if elected he would end loadhsedding and solve the energy crisis within two and a half years.
