Caretaker PM, US Ambassador discuss Pakistan elections

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso met with US Ambassador to Pakistan, Richard Olson in Islamabad on Thursday to discuss Pak-US relations and measures being taken to hold free and fair elections in Pakistan.

During the meeting the caretaker prime minister said that the interim government is doing its best to hold independent elections, adding that come what may elections will be free and fair and will be held on time.

On this occasion, Richard Olson said that caretaker government and cabinet’s efforts for the upcoming general elections were commendable.
