ECP bans transfers, postings in SindhStaff Report
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Friday imposed complete ban on transfers and postings of officers and officials of the federal, provincial, local governments in Sindh.
An ECP statement issued on Friday stated that although the commission, thorough its April 2 directive, had directed the federal and provincial caretaker governments to shuffle/transfer all federal and provincial secretaries; however, if the caretaker government considers that a federal or provincial secretary is independent and need not be transferred/shuffled, it may refrain from doing so and intimate the same to the election commission.
