Capital’s Marghazar Zoo still without lions, giraffe
ISLAMABAD: Despite the passage of a decade, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has failed to replace some popular animals at the Marghazar Zoo, often promoted as an ideal zoo and a model for the rest of the country. The cages of lions, leopards and snakes have been lying vacant for years with CDA showing little interest. Sources at the Zoo say the administration has made no effort to bring the missing animals through purchase or exchange deals. The pair of lions died and the CDA donated the leopards. app
