Shikarpur Jirga fines man Rs5.3 million for killing three womenSHIKARPUR: A man was fined Rs5.3 million for murdering three women including one who was pregnant by a jirga here on Monday.
The murders took place three years ago and the man was fined by a jirga headed by former Prime Minister Mir Zafaullah Khan Jamali and PPP leader Maqbool Ahmed Sheikh.
The accused Abdul Qadir Jamali was presented before the jirga and confessed to his crime. Abdul Qadir Jamali informed the jirga that he killed three women including his wife and mother-in-law in the name of honour.
