MQM presents reoslution against PPO in Sindh Assembly
KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has presented a resolution against the Protection of Pakistan Ordinance (PPO) in the Sindh Assembly.
MQM MPA Khawaja Izharul Hasan while addressing the provincial assembly said the ordinance was against the Constitution of Pakistan and basic human rights. He added that security forces already had the Armed Forces Act.
The MQM MPA further said the entire world was critical of Pakistan for violating human rights and he called on the provincial assembly to reject the PPO.
