Ex-PEMRA chief challenges sacking

ISLAMABAD: Former chairman of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Chaudhry Rasheed, on Wednesday challenged his removal from the office, in the Islamabad High Court (IHC). In his petition, Rasheed stated that he was sacked despite his case being in the court. He termed his removal illegal and unconstitutional. The petitioner asked the court to cancel his removal notification.
