PM consoles Afghans over flood losses
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has conveyed deep sympathy and condolences to President Hamid Karzai over the human and material losses caused by flash floods in several provinces of Afghanistan. “In his message, while conveying Pakistan’s solidarity with the brotherly Afghan people, the prime minister has expressed the confidence that they would overcome this calamity with their characteristic resilience,” an official statement issued by the Prime Minister’s House on Saturday said.
