US special envoy calls on PM Nawaz
ISLAMABAD: US Special Representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan, James F. Dobbins called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday here, Geo News reported.
They discussed regional security situation, post-Afghan election scenario, situations on Pak-Afghan border and matters relating to the withdrawal of NATO forces from Afghanistan.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and US Ambassador Richard Olson were also present in the meeting.
Ambassador Dobbins has been to Pakistan on a number of occasions. Last year, he visited Islamabad in June, October and December and also accompanied Secretary of State John Kerry to Pakistan.
