Altaf urges PM to help end institutional confrontation
LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain on Sunday appealed to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to play his role towards putting an end to the ongoing ‘hot and cold war’ among the institutions of the country.
In a statement issued from MQM International Secretariat London, Altaf Hussain called upon the PM to also play his positive role for steering the country out of the crises being faced by it and the nation.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should immediately intervene either by coming to the National Assembly, Senate or summoning an all parties’ conference to resolve and neutralize the issues and threats faced internally, adding, the internal threats posed greater danger than external ones.
Altaf Hussain said numerous sacrifices were made for the revival of democracy in the country and if any harm is caused to it then ‘we will all be held responsible for it’.
