PM Sharif off to UK on five-day official visit

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has left here for United Kingdom on a 5-day official visit beginning April 30.

The prime minister would hold discussions with his British counterpart on matters of mutual interest. He would also hold meetings with select UK cabinet ministers.

Nawaz Sharif would address an Investment Conference and would also meet select chief executives and investors from the financial and energy sectors.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch and PM's Special Assistant on foreign affairs Tariq Fatimi will be accompanying the prime minister during the visit.

The Prime Minister would also meet members of the Pakistani diaspora.
