Shah suggests closure of feeders over power theft

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has suggested closure of electricity feeders over power theft, Geo News reported.

Khursheed Shah held a meeting with Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif at his chamber and exchanged views on the tension arose after the statements of State Minister for Power Abid Sher Ali.

Shah suggested that the feeder of the Sindh area should be closed down where power theft is recorded, however, he opposed removal of the transformers.

Shah assured to take dues issue with government of Sindh.

After the meeting, Khawaja Asif said they exchanged views on cooperation to resolve the issues.
