Zardari pays rich tributes to martyrs
Islamabad: Former President Asif Ali Zardari has said that the nation salutes its martyrs who laid down their lives in defence of the country. Paying glowing tributes to those who have sacrifices their lives, on the eve of martyrs’ Day on April 30, former president said that the nation lives because of its heroes who are willing and ready to die for the country. The nation cannot adequately repay the debt of gratitude it owes to the martyrs. Former president also eulogised the sacrifices rendered by the defence and law enforcing personnel in the fight against militancy and expressed his confidence of the triumph of the good over evil. Former president said that as long as the resolve exists in the defence forces to fight country’s enemies and there is an urge for getting the highest respect of being a martyr, no power can defeat Pakistan. Pakistani nation will ensure that the sacrifices rendered by defence forces for noble cause will not go in vain. Asif Ali Zardari paying rich tributes to the families of martyrs said that they are to be respected as their loved ones have laid down their lives for a noble cause. The entire nation is with them and they are never alone. They will never walk alone.
