Professionalism of Punjab police destroyed by end of merit, politicization: Imran
LONDON: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has stated that professionalism of Punjab police has been destroyed by end of merit and politicization.
In a twitter message over police operation against Chotu gang in Rajanpur, Imran Khan said, “Professionalism of Punjab police has been destroyed by end of merit and politicization. The result has been the tragic loss of police lives in the Rajanpur operation.”
He said, Punjab govermment uses police for political victimization.
In sharp contrast to Punjab police, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where Imran Khan’s party is in power, police is depoliticised, professional and selected on merit through NTS tests, Khan added.
