Imran convens PTI meeting after PM address
ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders on Saturday (today) to discuss the prime minister's address to the nation.
During his address, the prime minister announced to set up a judicial commission to probe the issue of Panama Leaks.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had earlier rejected the premier's announcement of an inquiry commission headed by a retired judge, calling for a judicial commission under the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Imran Khan had threatened to mount a protest march on Raiwind if the PTI demand was not met.
Upon his return from London, the prime minister decided to form the judicial commission and made the announcement during his address to the nation, in which he severely criticized the PTI leadership, without naming Imran Khan.
