UAE acting consul general calls on Bakhtawar, Aseefa
Bakheet Ateeq invites PPP leaders to participate in social welfare projects of UAE
ISLAMABAD – United Arab Emirates (UAE) Acting Consul General in Karachi Bakheet Ateeq Al Romaithi has called on Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari.
They exchanged views for further strengthening the ties between two countries in different sectors, said a press release issued by the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Secretariat. On the occasion, the acting consul general invited Bakhtawar and Aseefa to participate in social welfare projects of UAE carried out.
He specially invited Bakhtawar to participate in “The Mother of UAE HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al-Nahyan Programme” and also run the programme in Pakistan with her support. The programme is working in the fields of provision of education, food and health sectors.
Bakheet Ateeq Al Romaithi also extended invitation to Aseefa Bhutto to become Ambassador of Anti-Polio Programme Pakistan, which is monitored by UAE and requested cooperation in this regard. He further said that Bhutto and Al-Nahyan families have old relations and the ties between the two countries will be further strengthened.
