PM Imran Khan asks world to note Kashmiris’ sufferings in IOK lockdown

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Tuesday said that now the world community could understand the sufferings of Kashmiris in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) after protests in various parts of the world were now going on against the lockdowns.

In tweets, the prime minister said, “Under an inhumane politico-mly lockdown continuing for over 8 months now without any provision of medical, financial, communication or food assistance.” In fact, he noted the racist Hindutva Supremacist Modi government had ensured that Kashmiris were deprived of all basic amenities during lockdown.

He wrote, “Demonstrations in various parts of the world are now going on against lockdowns during a pandemic - despite prov of medical, financial, communication & food assistance. Perhaps now int community can understand the suffering of Kashmiris in IOJK as they suffer brutal oppression”.
