Awan says not interested in Attorney General office
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Law Babar Awan has said government is implementing several points of the court verdict on National Reconciliation Ordinance, while the affected parties have filed appeals on some points of the decision.
Awan was talking to media men on Saturday outside the office of Attorney General in Supreme Court premises.
The minister said that he was not interested to hold the office of Attorney General.
He said the PPP government in its period of two years has achieved consensus over the 18th constitutional amendment, National Finance Commission Award and established writ of the state in terror hit regions of Pakistan. He said Pakistan today is more stable than the dictatorial era.
