Govt can’t request reopening of Swiss cases: Fauzia Wahab
ISLAMABAD: The Swiss cases have been disposed of “on merit” and the references cannot be reopened, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) information secretary said on Saturday.
PPP Information Secretary Fauzia Wahab said the 18th Amendment Bill had done away with all the conspiracies being hatched against the democratic setup of the country.
The PPP information secretary said now that the constitution had been purged of the distortions inked in by dictators, nobody could ever derail the democratic institutions in Pakistan, according to a private news channel. President Asif Ali Zardari enjoys constitutional immunity, she added. app/daily times monitor
