Ministry aware of its constitutional obligations: AwanISLAMABAD: The Law Ministry is aware of all its legal and constitutional obligations, Minister for Law Dr Babar Awan said on Saturday.
Talking to reporters after his visit to the office of the attorney general (AG) at the Supreme Court (SC), Awan said major parts of the SC directives in the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) case were implemented.
Awan said the current government was the first in the country’s history to have taken steps to implement SC orders.
He said certain parties had filed review petitions against the main NRO verdict and they were waiting for the outcome. app
