Corps commanders reaffirm Pak-US strategic partnership
ISLAMABAD: The 128th Corps Commanders Conference reaffirmed the strategic partnership between Pakistan and the US on Wednesday, Daily Times has learnt. Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani chaired the meeting, which discussed defence related issues and the recently concluded Pak-US strategic dialogue and comprehensively reviewed Army’s operational readiness. General Kayani briefed the corps commanders about his meetings with US military officials and they expressed satisfaction over the outcome of the Pak-US strategic dialogue. He informed the meeting that the next round of the Pak-US strategic dialogue would be held in Pakistan. staff report
