PM, COAS discuss nuclear disarmament conference
ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani here on Friday night, Geo news reported.In a statement issued from PM House, two top officials exchanged views pertaining to conference in connection with nuclear disarmament, which held in Washington during PM Gilani’s visit to US.
The meeting also discussed various issues relating to overall law and order situation and maintenance of peace in country.
Later, PM Gilani and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held joint sitting with President Asif Ali Zardari here at President house camp.
The latter meeting also discussed PM Gilani’s tour to US and participation in Nuclear Security Conference (NSC) held in Washington.
