More patience needed to get nuclear state status: Gilani
WASHINGTON: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said US President Barack Obama expressed his confidence in the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear program and hailed Pakistan’s participation in nuclear summit as a positive step toward nuclear security efforts.
Premier Gilani said more patience needed to get nuclear state status and no single country participated in the conference has expressed concern over Pakistan’s nuclear program.
Also US expressed concern on power crisis in Pakistan and US experts will soon visit Pakistan to resolve the issue. We need trade not aid, Gilani added
