Musharraf aide says UN report a ‘pack of lies’
ISLAMABAD: The UN report on the assassination of Benazir Bhutto is a “pack of lies”, Rashid Qureshi, an aide of former president Pervez Musharraf, said on Friday. He said the UN report was based on rumours and Musharraf - currently living abroad – was not responsible. “This UN chief investigator was not the relative of Sherlock Homes,” Qureshi said. “It is a pack of lies.” He said Benazir exposed herself to the risk even after the head of the Inter-Services Intelligence warned her not to attend the rally because of threats of an attack. ap
