Parliament overstepped its scope: Peerzada
ISLAMABAD: Former law minister Abdul Hafeez Peerzada said the Parliament has gone beyond its scope by approving 18th Amendment.
He was talking to Geo News.
He pointed out that the Constitution has four basic elements parliamentary democracy, provincial autonomy, basic human rights and freedom of judiciary and 18th Amendment violated all these.
'President's signature will provide the judiciary reason for interpretation.'
Peerzada rejected reports about confrontation between state organs.
