Energy conservation policy implemented
ISALMABAD: The decision of federal government to observe two weekly holidays has been implemented; however, several banks and educational institutions remained opened today due to unclear situation.The courts and Post offices have decided not to observe two weekly holidays and would continue to work as usual.
The government offices and banks are closed today throughout the country but many government institutions remained opened in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw. Also, normal educational activities are going on in International Islamic University in Islamabad. Sindh University, Mehran University and Liaquat Medical University opened as per routine. State Bank said bank or finanacial institutions staff could conduct their office work but public dealing will not be allowed.
