PM in Khatmandu
KHATMANDU: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani arrived here on a night-long stay on his way to Bhutan to attend the 16th SAARC Summit, from April 28-29.He was received at the airport by Deputy Prime Minister Vijay Kumar. The prime minister during his stay will also meet the Nepalese Prime Minister and the president.
The heads of state and government of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are attending the Summit.
The Summit will adopt a declaration - "Towards a Green and Happy South Asia", focusing on the problems relating to environment and climate change.
